Stirring Learning

Who would have thought that one small Piaggio coffee cart could be used in so many ways?

Make great coffee

The coffee cart makes an unusual and quirky addition to any event – corporate, private or charity. Read more here.

Influence a future generation

Management training and development company Clearworth has created a programme to set young people up with traditional business skills that will stay with them for life. We take recent school leavers and young people from youth groups or schools, and show them how to plan and run their own business – a coffee cart.

They will be making their own decisions, living by their mistakes and celebrating their successes. This is a learning experience that’s also great fun for everyone involved. Read more here.

Staff get streetwise business skills

A perfect management-training tool for graduates and fast-track learners, Clearworth trains participants in real-life business skills and coaching techniques, which they then use to help the young people make their most of their opportunity. This is management training made tangible. Measured in coffee cups, in fact.

And, as a socially responsible and publicity friendly exercise, the benefits of this project sit well with businesses keen to support the community. Read more here.

The Coffee Cart Project is just one of a whole array of ideas and training that Clearworth offers. You can find out more about us here.

20 Years with Shell!

This November marks the 20th anniversary of Clearworth's status as training provider for Shell's EP100 team building event.

The training programme began in 1988 as a 17 week lecture course, created to give technical staff an awareness and understanding of the business as a whole.

Since then, Clearworth has helped it evolve into a 5 week interactive programme. Apart from the length, little has changed about the programme over the two decades – it fulfils its role so well.

What has changed, however, is the eclectic mix of people that now come through the course. Where they were once either British or Dutch, they are now just as likely to be from Nigeria or The States, coming together to understand their global organisation and the issues it faces.
